Are you willing to give up a little of your free time while you watch TV, wait for the train and wait in a queue? If you answered yes, you could make £100's of pounds a year, without any skills, talent or set hours. Online surveys can be a lucrative way to make a little bit of cash on the side. All you need to do is answer a few questions on topics such as politics, your groceries and daily routines, and you could be rewarded in PayPal cash, Amazon vouchers and even free products! Here is the guide you've been waiting for, where we will share the best sites we have found. Whilst we are based in the UK, most of these sites are available all throughout Europe and the USA.
YouGov
YouGov is perhaps one of the most lucrative survey sites and apps available, allowing you to answer questions on the news, politics and other world events. The surveys pay 50p, and only take 5-10 minutes to complete. The one downside of YouGov is the £50 payout threshold, which can take some users a while to accumulate. Rewards are sent via bank transfer and usually arrive the next working day. One of YouGov's best attributes is that you never get screened out, which means you are guaranteed the reward as long as you answer the questions!
Qmee
Qmee is one of my best earners, as there is a good variety of surveys, plus a handy browser plug in that suggests websites to visit, then pays you a small amount to visit the page. This works with Google Search and Amazon. Arguably Qmee's best feature is that there is no minimum payout threshold, meaning you can withdraw straight to your PayPal account. You can take surveys on the app or on their website. Surveys are frequent but most payouts are less than £1, the average survey takes 5 minutes to complete.
Swagbucks
One of the most popular survey sites is Swagbucks, and for good reason. It is one of the most versatile survey sites available, with a variety of ways to earn. These include watching videos, answering surveys and taking photographs. There are many ways to withdraw your earnings, such as PayPal cash, Gift Cards and High Street Vouchers. Swagbucks biggest downfall is the amount the surveys earn, there are plenty of sites that pay much better, for less effort.
Curious Cat
Curious Cat is one of my latest findings, it has a smaller amount of surveys available, however they are short and sweet, and pay well, around 50p per survey. The payout threshold is low, at only £1, and rewards can be sent straight to your PayPal account. Most surveys take around 3 minutes. Depending on your demographic, the biggest downside of Curious Cat is the frequency of surveys.
Street Bees
My latest, and most lucrative survey app is Street Bees, as soon as your answers are approved, the cash is sent to your PayPal account. The "stories" last around 5 minutes, with a payout of anything between 10p and £1. There are plenty of surveys available, no matter your demographic, and payouts are fast, I made nearly £5 in my first day, which was available in my PayPal account the next morning. Definitely worth a shot!
